Briton crowned world PC Halo champion

The UK's Jonathan "BEAST" Finglass triumphs at the iGames-hosted fragfest in Los Angeles.

This afternoon in Los Angeles, Britannia ruled at the Halo PC Worldwide Championships. The UK's Jonathan "BEAST" Finglass won the final round of the daylong event, hosted at iGames' Internet PC Cafe in Gardena, California. He beat out 19 competitors from around the globe, winning four out of five of the final matches. The Netherlands' Stefan Dammers came in second, and Korea's Ju Yong Shin took third.

While only Finglass will have a champion's bragging rights, all three top finishers will receive a green Alienware Aurora game system. The 16 other players will take home a Radeon 9800 graphics card.
