It probably doesn't mean that computer games will enter the realm of high culture or be considered "fine art" anytime soon, but artwork from the upcoming Interplay game Of Light and Darkness - or at least work by the artist whose environmental designs are used in the game - are going on display at a fine art gallery in Beverly Hills (apologies for the unavoidable oxymoron).

The gallery, Tamara Bane Gallery, on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, is showcasing works by French artist Giv Bruvel this Thursday, April 23, from 6:00 to 10:30pm. Patrons will be able to play the game as well as take in an exhibit of 20 or so Bruvel paintings and drawings.
