Another actor has joined the Borderlands film, with Olivier Richters--a Dutch bodybuilder and actor--coming aboard to play Krom. Richters, who stands more than seven feet tall, also appeared in The King's Man and Gangs of London. He'll be seen next in Marvel's Black Widow.

Krom is the leader of the psycho bandits on Pandora. He's just the latest villain character to be cast, following news that Zero Dark Thirty's Edgar Ramirez will play Atlas. IGN was first to confirm the casting news about Krom.

Just a few days ago, Richters posted on Instagram that he was traveling to Hungary and that he had big news to share soon. Well, the Borderlands movie is filming in Budapest, Hungary, and his casting as Krom appears to be the big news he was teasing. Richters flew on KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, and he was given three seats to acommodate his massive frame.

Cate Blanchett, Jamie Lee Curtis, Kevin Hart, and Jack Black also star in the movie, while young Gamora actress Ariana Greenblatt will play Tiny Tina. The film is directed by Hostel's Eli Roth.

Film giant Lionsgate is producing the movie, which is written by Craig Mazin, who is also writing the HBO's adaptation of The Last of Us. Randy Pitchford, the head of Borderlands developer Gearbox, is a producer on the film. He recently responded to a series of questions and concerns about the movie.

As for the Borderlands game series, the Borderlands 3 Director's Cut releases on April 8 following a delay related to the terrible storms in the studio's home state of Texas.
