Borderlands 3 Anniversary Event Dates: Rare Spawn Hunt Almost Over

The Borderlands franchise celebrates its tenth birthday this month and Gearbox is throwing a party to celebrate the occasion. For all of October and the first few days of November, special loot events will pop up in Borderlands 3. It's sort of like busting open a birthday pinata, if the pinata were full of guns. You can see the full schedule below.

Borderlands 3 is currently in the midst of Rare Spawn Hunt. The event guarantees that rare enemies will spawn more often, and the odds of getting a unique Legendary loot drop from one of them has also increased. It's only available through next week, so jump on that hunt while you can.

Borderlands 3 Anniversary Event Schedule

• Week 1 (October 1-7): Bonus Boss Loot
• Week 2 (October 8-14): Rare Spawn Hunt
• Week 3 (October 15-21): Show Me the Eridium
• Week 4 (October 22-28): Mayhem on Twitch
• Week 5 (October 29 - November 4): Spooky Surprise

Details of the other four events are forthcoming, though the Spooky Surprise in late October would line up with what we heard about the Bloody Harvest free DLC. But, Gearbox may have other Halloween haunts planned as well.
