Borderlands 2 getting Game of the Year Edition - Report
Game of the Year Edition reportedly includes all previous game content; no word on bundling of upcoming DLC.
Tipsters at US retailer GameStop suggest that Gearbox Software may be readying a Borderlands 2 Game of the Year Edition, as reported by IGN.
The bundle is believed to include all of the game’s previously released content, playable characters, pre-order incentives, and raised level cap.
These include: Captain Scarlett and Her Pirate's Booty, Sir Hammerlock's Big Game Hunt, Mr Torgue's Campaign of Carnage, Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep, Creature Slaughter Dome, Psycho Pack, the Mechromancer Pack, and the Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack.
No mention was made as to whether the new collection will also include the upcoming Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack 2, Digistruct Peak Challenge, or next piece of downloadable content, TK Baha's Bloody Harvest. A release date has not been confirmed.
A 2K spokesperson was unavailable to verify the rumour at time of publication. Borderlands: Game of the Year Edition launched one year after the original game went on sale.
