Borderlands 2 getting Game of the Year Edition - Report

@beuneus12 I would say yes even thou I didnt play it also and am holding off for the goty to drop but basically its a more fine tuned version of the first Borderlands which I love especially some of its DLCs like the zombie island of doctor Ned and the awesome generals vault or something like that.

@00LiteYear Considering the GoTY edition will probably launch at 50-60 dollars, it probably would be slightly cheaper to by that then to stick with the 9 dollar copy and get all the DLC. Then again if you're not interested in the DLC, and just want to play the main story line, 9 bux is an awesome deal for how much content you get.

@StingrayX5 Unfortunately, it doesn't always though. I'm still waiting on "Complete" editions of The Force Unleashed II, Ultimate Alliance 2, and Darksiders II. Something tells me it's not gonna happen.

I don't know anyone who wonders why people wait, the answer is obvious, you wanna save money. Is this a reason to sound so proud though, you seem to be bragging that you called a GOTY edition like you were smarter than say me to have waited, but in reality it's thanks to us early adopters you're even getting an GOTY edition! If we didn't invest initially this game would of failed and you'd still get it cheap I'm sure but I could think of some other implications.

Not saying you were wrong to wait, people always have to decide which to do, wait or risk and I think it's fine no matter which side you pick, I know I am on both sides usually(currently putting Splinter Cell: Blacklist and Saints Row IV on wait). Although I do this it's kinda wrong the industry seems to award people who await more.

@Sheik2 Not one bit. The only thing playing the first one would do for you is bring you a warm tingly feeling when they bring back the characters from 1.

@Sheik2 Not really from what I have played and seen at a friend's house(i dont actually own it though, i waited for Bordelands 1 GOTY, and i decided to do the same for this one...too much $$$ otherwise)

@Sheik2 Not really. The story isn't a strong point in borderlands 1.

@dj_pulserfan Nice man. That's a steal. I was gonna post something similar, But I paid 10 bucks for the game and 10 bucks for the season pass when it was 66% off on Steam Summer Sale. Wish I woulda got the deal you got =P
