Bob Odenkirk In The Hospital After Collapsing On Better Call Saul Set, Currently In Stable Condition

Yesterday, Odenkirk's son, Nate, took to twitter with hopeful news.

Additionally, Odenkirk's PR representatives confirmed that he is in a stable condition after experiencing a "heart related incident."

Bob Odenkirk, the star of AMC's Better Call Saul, collapsed on set during filming Tuesday, according to reports. The actor dropped to the ground and was then rushed to the hospital.

Odenkirk's friends and colleagues took to social media for an outpouring of support. David Cross, who is Odenkirk's longtime friend and collaborator on Mr. Show, responded to the news on Twitter. "I will share what I know when I can but Bob is one of the strongest people I know both physically and spiritually. He WILL get through this," Cross said.

This happened during filming on Better Call Saul in New Mexico, according to TMZ. Bryan Cranston, who starred on Breaking Bad alongside Odenkirk, released a statement as well.

"Today I woke up to news that has made me anxious all morning. My friend, Bob Odenkirk, collapsed last night on the set of Better Call Saul. He is in the hospital in Albuquerque and receiving the medical attention he needs but his condition is not known to the public as yet. Please take a moment in your day today to think about him and send positive thoughts and prayers his way, thank you," Cranston said.

Odenkirk's co-star on Better Call Saul, Michael Mando, released a response as well. He said, "Send all your positive energy and love to him and his family. Let's hope to have him back as soon as possible. I love you so much, my friend xo."

Aaron Paul, who shared many scenes with Odenkirk over the years on Breaking Bad, weighed in as well in a post on social media.

Odenkirk, who earned four Emmy nominations for his role as Jimmy McGill/Saul Goodman on the Breaking Bad spin-off, recently starred in the action movie Nobody.

Better Call Saul is set to return for a 13-episode sixth and final season in early 2022, though whether or not the situation surrounding Odenkirk's health may impact that is unknown.
