OK, OK, we were kidding about the Porsche. But there could be a T-shirt in your future....

Following on the heels of the recent Blue Byte/Mplayer tournament, Blue Byte Software has announced that it plans to hold an Extreme Assault tourney on the Kali gaming network, starting at 7:30pm CST on Friday, May 1. The first-place winner will receive a Voodoo 2 card (in anticipation, Blue Byte says, of the upcoming Voodoo2 patch for Extreme Assault).

Other prizes in the tournament are a Wingman Extreme Digital joystick and a Microsoft SideWinder gamepad.

Send an e-mail message to hotline@bluebyte.com to enter the tournament. (You'll need to be registered on Kali to play.)

Blue Byte has also announced that those who preorder a combo pack of Incubation: Time is Running Out and its add-on disc, The Wilderness Missions, will receive an Incubation bonus CD and comic book. Blue Byte will ship the US$39.99 combo pack free (within the continental US) to those ordering it.

And, Blue Byte and 3Dfx Brotherhood are sponsoring an Incubation trivia contest, running through April 20. Full retail boxed versions of the game, Incubation T-shirts, and Incubation watches will be given away to people who can answer such questions as: "In the Incubation add-on pack, what creature was nicknamed 'Einstein' for its intelligence?" and "How many million triangles per second can the Voodoo2 process?"
