Blue Byte Breaks Into Flight Sims

Blue Byte has announced that it will publish a WWII air combat sim called IL-2 Sturmovik next spring. Set over the eastern front, IL-2 Sturmovik will let players choose from over 17 different Russian combat planes, including the IL-2, MiG-3, La-7, and Yak-7. Six historical campaigns fully cover the major actions in the theater and will pit players against 24 German aircraft and over 65 vehicles in a variety of air and ground attack missions. The game is currently under development by the Russia-based studio Maddox Games.
