Sega announced today that Blood Will Tell, a PlayStation 2 game based on Osamu Tezuka's classic manga series Dororo, is currently available at retail stores nationwide. The stylish action title puts the player in control of both of the manga series' main characters--tortured samurai Hyakkimaru and young orphan girl Dororo--at different times.

Hyakkimaru has a tragic past--evil fiends stole his limbs and organs at birth, and his missing bits were replaced with a variety of weaponry. On the way to reclaim his lost body parts and his normal human life, Hyakkimaru uses his vast array of armaments to launch all sorts of different attacks on a variety of enemy characters. Dororo's levels, meanwhile, are more platforming oiented.

Priced at $39.99, Blood Will Tell is rated "M" for Mature. GameSpot's Justin Calvert took a stab at the game; read his review for the gory details.
