BlizzCon is every Blizzard fan's favorite time of year, offering news on the latest games from the developer like World of Warcraft and Overwatch 2. This year's event is going to be a little different, with the pandemic preventing it from being in-person. BlizzCon 2021 is dubbed "BlizzConline," as nothing will be in-person this year. BlizzCon kicked off on February 19, with events also scheduled for the following day.

So far, we've seen reveals for Diablo 2: Resurrected, Diablo IV's Rogue class, and more details about WoW Classic's Burning Crusade. BlizzCon is a long event and features multiple presentations and panels, so it helps to have a rundown of what is happening and when it's happening. The next major expansion coming to Blizzard's card battle game Hearthstone is called Forged in the Barrens, and it will introduce 135 new cards, 10 legendary mercenary characters, and incorporate a new key word known as Frenzy. With the Year of the Gryphon, the season will also add in a the Core Set, a revised deck of 235 cards that incorporates new and old favorites, along with new legendary dragon cards including Deathwing the Destroyer.

In the newest trailer for Diablo IV, we got to see a new cinematic trailer highlighting the new Rogue class. Along with the other classes, the Barbarian, the Sorceress, and Druid, the Rogue will fight monsters and other humans to collect loot and complete quests. The trailer showed off some gameplay with the class, which blends ranged bow combat with melee attacks, all of which highlight their speed and tactical abilities during combat.

The much rumored and teased remaster for Diablo II has finally been revealed. Developed by Blizzard and Vicarious Visions, the remaster of Blizzard's iconic action-RPG will remake the game's visual style and add in some quality-of-life improvements for the original's gameplay. That said, the trailer showed that the gameplay still retains what made classic Diablo 2 so great. This remaster will also include cross-progression on all platforms.
