Blizzard released additional details this afternoon regarding the StarCraft II Update Panel taking place at this year's BlizzCon. There press release included the following paragraph:

"Catch an overview of the improvements coming to StarCraft II with the impending Patch 2.1. Then, learn about the design team's approach to multiplayer gameplay and balance, and finally, get caught up to speed on past and present World Championship Series, as well as a few of our thoughts as we head in to next year’s WCS. The panel is scheduled to include Senior Game Producer Tony Hsu, Senior Manager of Community Development Kevin Johnson, Senior Game Designer David Kim, and Senior eSports Manager Kim Phan."

Notably absent from the panel's guest list is game designer Dustin Browder. The topic list does include next year's World Championship Series (WCS), but according to a post on TeamLiquid.net from Senior eSports Manager Kim Phan yesterday StarCraft fans should be expecting to wait until after BlizzCon for all the details on the WCS 2014 season.
