Comments

Sean Young, William Sanderson, and many of the actors who appeared in the 1982 film Blade Runner recently reprised their roles. They, and 100 or so other actors and models, received the digitization treatment as their likenesses were scanned using optical motion-capture technologies for use in Westwood Studios' upcoming four disc CD-ROM opus, Blade Runner. They'll appear as 3D creations in the finished game, set for release in November.

Actors who appeared in the film also contributed their voices to the project, which will include 6,800 lines of spoken dialogue. Other actors from the film that are lending their talents to the game: Brian James (Leon in the movie), James Hong (Dr. Chew), and Joe Turkell (Eldon Tyrell). Young portrayed Rachel, Harrison Ford's replicant love interest in the film, and William Sanderson was toy maker J.S. Sebastian.
