Closing out the Marvel panel at Comic-Con 2022 was the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever trailer. Arriving in theaters November 11, 2022, the sequel is delivering a lot to fans, including Namor: The Sub-Mariner.

Ryan Coogler will direct the film, which will see a war between Atlantis and Wakanda. There will be lots of introductions to new characters, many of which are familiar to Marvel Comics readers. And yes, someone does appear in the Black Panther costume at the end of the trailer, but we're not sure who it is. However, it's in the same suit Killmonger wore in the first movie, and he's supposedly dead. Check out the trailer for yourself below.

Tenoch Huerta (The Forever Purge) will play Namor, the king of Atlantis. "I'm excited and so happy to be here," Huerta said in the panel, which was covered by GameSpot's Mason Downey. "I want to say something really fast about inclusion. I come from the hood. And thanks to inclusion, I'm here."

Huerta went on to say that Namor is amazing. But he's not the only new character for the movie. Dominique Thorne will be playing Riri Williams, a teenager who is a genius inventor. She'll be staring in the Disney+ series Ironheart in the near future. "I think we all know that the impact of Black Panther 1 is indelible, it's indescribable, it's physical emotional mental and most of all spiritual," Thorne said. "I think to be a part of it returning to the screen, and showcasing this beautiful new young mind, and to do that while highlighting this important perspective. It is an honor."

A new poster for the movie also arrived, which you can check out below.

Black Panther closed out the very crowded Marvel panel on Saturday at Comic-Con. Marvel also announced a Thunderbolts movie, a new Daredevil show, a She-Hulk trailer, Blade's release date, the next Captain America movie title, two new Avengers movies, and a few other announcements.
