Black Panther continues to set records. The Marvel superhero movie has now made $665.3 million in the US, surpassing Titanic ($659.3 million) to become the third biggest box office success in United States history. Not adjusted for inflation, the top two movies in US history are Star Wars: The Force Awakens ($936.7 million) and Avatar ($760.5 million).

Black Panther made the mark after bringing in a further $8.4 million this past weekend, which was good for a fourth-place finish at the domestic box office. The winner of the weekend was the horror movie A Quiet Place, which opened with $50 million. That was twice as good as the second-place movie, Ready Player One, which made $25.1 million.

Last week, Black Panther passed The Avengers to become the biggest superhero movie ever in the United States. It has also made more money than The Last Jedi in the US.

Worldwide, Black Panther has now made an incredible $1.29 billion at the box office. That makes it the 10th highest grossing movie ever globally. You can see the full Top 10 box office report below, as relayed by Entertainment Weekly.
