As it has in years past, Spike TV has managed to line up a fairly impressive number of game announcements and reveals for this year's televised Video Game Awards. Last week, show organizers teased that one of those reveals would be from BioWare, and today more information on that game emerged, courtesy of GameStop-owned Game Informer magazine.

It's unlikely this man is just discovering the ability to fly.

Today, the magazine's online arm posted concept art for BioWare's new game, which has yet to be titled. The image shows a wiry man of African descent being flung from a savagely wrecked all-terrain vehicle. A second, equally dilapidated truck is also shown with what appears to be a turret mounted in the bed. Heavily washed-out environments also appear to depict a desert wasteland.

Little else is known about BioWare's new project, other than that it will be an all-new property. BioWare has established a new studio to handle development on the title. A release window or platforms have yet to be revealed.

The 2011 VGAs takes place on December 10 and will be broadcast live on Spike TV and MTV2, beginning at 8 p.m. Eastern, 5 p.m. Pacific.
