With clouds of analyst-generated doom and gloom hanging over the industry, some companies are feeling the need to remind the public that their games make a lot of money. Companies like BioWare/Pandemic, the superstudio that was recently formed by the venture capitalist-brokered union of the developers of Jade Empire and Destroy All Humans! Today, the developers announced that to date, games from their combined catalogs have sold more than 28 million copies, generating $800 million in revenue. Forthcoming projects from the Canadian-Californian combo include BioWare's Mass Effect for the Xbox 360, due in 2007, while Pandemic has no fewer than four secret games in the works.
