Blizzcon, the annual fan-focused celebration of all things Blizzard, kicked off this week in Anaheim, California. Although a number of leaks spoiled some of the announcements ahead of time, there were still plenty of surprises and trailers. World of Warcraft: Legion

We got the first details of WoW's next expansion, Legion, back in August, but Blizzard waited until the convention to reveal the game's gorgeous cinematic trailer below. The expansion is slated to release summer 2016.

Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft

The popular digital trading card game is getting a new expansion with 45 new cards: The League of Explorers. In an investor meeting just prior to the show, Activision also revealed that Hearthstone is now up to 40 million players.

Heroes of the Storm

Blizzard's "Hero Brawler" is introducing a unique new character to its roster soon: Cho'gall. The two-headed monstrosity is far stronger than normal characters, but he's also controlled by two players at the same time.

Greymane and Lunara were two other characters introduced during the Heroes of the Storm opening ceremony, and the Overwatch presentation revealed that Tracer would also make her way into the game.

In addition to the new characters, Heroes of the Storm is also getting a new mode: The Arena. Have you ever wanted to play 5v5 match with all Illidans? This will be your chance.

StarCraft II: Legacy of the Void

The current StarCraft trilogy is coming to an end, but that doesn't mean the series is over quite yet. Blizzard announced a new series of adventures is currently in development called Nova Covert Ops. Legacy of the Void is launching soon, and ahead of the game's release, Blizzard also showed off the game's cinematic launch trailer.

Diablo III

Blizzard outlined the many changes and additions coming in Diablo III's next update, patch 2.4.0. Among the biggest are new areas and Legendary items, changes to Seasonal mode rewards, and a new challenge in the form of Set Dungeons.

We'll be at Blizzcon all weekend, and this story will be updated with additional details and interviews throughout the convention.
