Now Playing: GS News Update: Free Titanfall 2 DLC Pack Coming Next Week

Titanfall 2's next big DLC pack drops next week, developer Respawn has announced. The add-on is called Colony Reborn--and it will be free to all players.

The biggest piece of content included is a new map--or rather, an old map. Colony originally appeared in the first Titanfall game, and will make its return on March 30 when the Reborn pack launches on all platforms. The DLC pack also includes a new gun, the R-101, which returns from the original Titanfall bearing an ACOG scope. The last of the free content is a new execution, called Curb Check. Take a look at the finisher in action above.

In addition, Colony Reborn adds new paid cosmetic content, including two new Titan skins, some new camos, and more. Find out more on the Titanfall blog.

To celebrate the launch of Colony Reborn, Respawn is running a free weekend for Titanfall 2 from March 30 through April 3. This will include access to the full suite of multiplayer modes, as well as the Gauntlet training mission and the first single player campaign level. Those two missions will remain free to play forever, too. Plus, you'll be able to grab double XP that whole weekend, so it might be the perfect time to dive back into the movement-based shooter.

Last month's Titanfall 2 DLC consisted of two bonus maps and a new game mode, called Live Fire, which pits two teams of six against one another in a series of 60-second rounds. The two teams compete to either eliminate all their foes or to be the team holding a neutral flag at the end of those 60 seconds. More free content is on the way for Titanfall 2, but we don't yet know what.
