what the psp needs is a better software engine and games while the ds needs to stop making lame new system releases like ipod also make more games for the veteran gamers that arent for little kids

Pokemon got old with the release of diamond and pearl....so im just gonna buy Birth By Sleep instead.

LOL @ PSP Go. I thought it was a hit in Japan. Sony doesn't understand that we DON'T need slimmer PSPs, we need PSPs with 2 analog sticks and L2 and R2 buttons.

@gamer26690 The Pokemon Company co-publishes the Pokemon games along with Nintendo. It's an affiliate of Nintendo created to help market and promote all things Pokemon, including games.

@hotdiddykong but they are ONLY comments after all, but it seems they only bother you, don't you think thats like tattle tailing? reporting comments you don't like? @hotdiddykong I can understand where you are coming from.. I agree pokemon are still one of the best selling ds/gb games, but are you actually going and replying to everyone who posts a comment you don't like?? everyone has their right to their own opinions but don't let comments get to you.. but do you own any console other than nintendos?

Am I the only one who noticed for publisher gamespot has put "the pokemon company" don't they mean nintendo?

Why are Japanese people wasting their money on the DSi and DSi LL when the 3DS is going to be out in their country in a few months? I'm pretty sure everyone in Japan knows about the 3DS, I mean come on what Japanese citizen doesn't have some kind of Nintendo product...

Pokémon finally revolutionized itself so I'll of course be looking forward to it.

I'm not sure which version I plan on getting. But I do plan on buying a new pokemon game.

Though I should be preparing for college, focusing on school work, and worrying about my job... I still want to get my hands on the new Pokemon

japan has very good and unique taste in games. I'm an American and not ashamed of it. we have many diverse games as well. it's just that it seems like 90% have to do with shooting stuff. i rather play k-on, Pokemon,yakuza, and okamiden then cod,halo,brink, and crysis, like i said before there's always gonna be haters no matter what game or genre it is.

Kinda surprised that K-on! sold so much, well in a way its No surprise with the amount of fans and creepy otaku buying it for the moe element :? which I won't do as its so damn expensive

I love Pokemon - it won't get "old" anytime soon. This is only the 6th generation. It's new pokemon which is always nice. Pokemon fans who complain about any new Pokemon since Gold and Silver are NOT real fans - it was just the "in" thing back in highschool to like Pokemon. Rant over. I'm buying Black and White, Black Ops and Medal of Honor.

Wow, looks like it's a good time to be Nintendo in Japan, Pokemon Black and White continue to rake in the cash. Glad to see Okamiden did fairly well, too, I'm looking forward to that game coming out in the U.S. next year. Should be a good start to the year between Pokemon Black and White, Okamiden, and the 3DS release.

Man I can't wait to get Black and White here!

There are a bit too many pokemon now lol. I don't remember any except the first ones. I can actually recall all of their names. Ahhh the good old days of pokemon card trading at school. =D

@ tman410 They are both great games BUT there's nothing manly about either of them in the slightest The fact is if you ignore the fact it's called pokemon and the trading cards and the cartoon at it's core it's a fantastic RPG travel the world collecting monsters that you train to compete in a tournament and when needed fight evil. It's simple yet a brilliant formula which is why its so popular

Good old Japan. I hope they won't resemble Western markets (which includes developers and publishers) in the time to come.

japan has different taste in gaming. can't the haters just respect that? you play your shooters and let them play k-on and Pokemon simple as that. i like American and Japanese games, even though i love Japanese games more. haters always gonna hate.

Pokemon never gets old i already played White, is a massive improvement at least history-wise and i liked every new Pokemon design and there's a LOT i want to try but i just can't get to enjoy them all in 1 playtrough well....the only design i hate... is the ice cream pokemon

this just to show you that a well thought out idea can still sell even 10-15 years later
