@ alexLmx6, You are speaking strictly out of fan boy lungs, and so does everyone else that bashes Nintendo, Xbox, or PS3. You clearly don't realize that Nintendo is at the head of the charts when it comes to hardware and software sales/ and purchase count, so clearly what you're saying makes absolutely no sense. You probably desire games with the Alpha male that co*ks guns from beginning to end (very questionable if so). The truth is that there are both good and crappy games that are released on ALL systems, you speak from a one sided coin kid. Btw, this game will suck just like Brittany's dance beat for PS2, American Idol for DS, and any other rhythm OR fitness game that isn't DDR, Guitar Hero, Rockband or a Bowflex.

@ BloodMist - i think the wii gets the exact rap it deserves, while there is plenty of crap released for every system, the wii doesn't have anything worth playing to balance it out, and by simply riding on a fad and not making anything with lasting appeal nintendo has really screwed itself this time around on topic tho, if beyonce wants to make a fitness game she can go right ahead, but its not a game, its a piece of entertainment software

@Me2nice I say No to a Beyonce game because it's friggin Beyonce! The Wii is already littered with trash beyond belief and she is just adding to the pile. Nintendo messed up big time when they got rid of their "Seal of Quality". Over 90% of the Wii's game library would have never made the cut, and that would have been a great thing.

Considering that Beyonce is still legitimately famous, I'm not sure why she'd want to follow in the footsteps of Daisy Fuentes and Jenny McCarthy. That said, I'll never get why people complain about games like these. Video gaming is a big tent now... it's not just men aged 14-35 who only want Halo and Ninja Gaiden. There are actually other people on this planet with interests and tastes entirely different than our own, and while you may think a Beyonce dance-fitness game is lame, guess what they think of you pretending to be a space marine shooting aliens?

At least it brings in more gamers. I mean, who would say "NO" to a Beyonce game? Its friggin Beyonce!

Dear lord while XBOX 360, PS3 and PC users are awaiting AAA games for this christmas and the next year. Other than Marios and Zelda this fitness game is a must have for most Wii owners out there because there is nothing else that great coming out. Honestly when I first heard of the Wii and its motion controls I thought that there will a huge wave of innovative games that uses this tech but unfornutaley most Wii titles is either a poor mans version of Wii Sports, a lame port of an original game or a fitness games like these. While these games sell a lot to the casual crowd real good titiles like Okami, etc have dismal sales. Man good thing I sold my Wii that too for $300 last year.

Beyonce needs to die as soon as possible.

If they have a secret unlockable for nude Beyonce than I'm in. If not, they should atleast have her boobs bouncing while she's on screen and working out.

I'm luckier to have time for my other games, given that I have my dissertation to start and a whole of final year to resit.

@shawn_mitchel I'm not that hardcore. Wii fit is good for some people who don't like the gym, or very shy about it, I have heard it from some people. I simply don't fancy it at all and after seeing that my friend owned one, it's not my cup of tea. I still don't know if you can actually lose weight from it though. I found from experience that I prefer to actually physically go to the gym, physcially work out and walk back before going to work or uni. It's that satisfaction you can get from your efforts. I prefer the actual physical feedback. It's also good to hear from an experienced trainer what I really need from my exercise. Although a thought just occured to me after my far earlier comments of the Crazy for Love dance... A larger dance mat. For the more heavy choreography. Why didn't I think of this sooner before shooting my mouth off earlier? And don't believe the "no pain, no gain" speech, it's actually not true.

We really need another fitness game that everyone will buy to make Nintendo make more of them. *cough* extreme amount of sarcasm *cough*

@ FF fan2004 I completely respect your opinion. But i could only imagine that since you are a hardcore gamer girl,......and with all the good AAA games available,you won't have any time left to waste on the Wii Fit.

I am definitely one of those women who will not go out of my way to buy a Wii. Not because I am a hardcore gamer girl and it's not that I don't like the Wii either. Granted it will get women and girls to work out at home, but that's just sheer laziness. What I'd like to know is does the Wii fit actually help you lose weight? Can anyone tell me that?

Nintendo's ability and readiness to seek new markets and opportunities is the reason why they are still going to be around for a long time and continue to be a tough competitor(maybe,...not in the area of graphics,polishing and poligons). Nintendo is aiming at girls and women now,....trying to make them get their consoles for other reasons which does not have to be hardcore gaming. If lots of women start using the Nintendo consoles instead of the normal tread mill and other fat burning exercise equipments,.......you can agree with me that Nintendo is in for lots of cash because these women will now workout at home and ditch the gym,trainer,gym equipments. Nintendo is not going to fall,........infact Sony and Microsoft is soon going to follow suit when lots of women start flocking to Nintendo's consoles. To conclude this, remember that Nintendo started the Motion sensing era; Sony and Microsoft have recently jumped on the Wagon. It's also no surprise that Nintendo was awarded BEST company of this year.

"I think a lot of women would enjoy that." Yes, honey, any women who both owns Wii and Wii fit. So I'll just to my usual gym, go to my favourite, boring treadmill, while watching the tv screens and listen to Slayer or other metal on my iPod. Why? Because I'm not most women, I have bad tastes in music and I prefer losing wieght the good old fashion way. Oh and there's the added bonus of seeing some fit, muscly, hot men using the free weights.

Oh god... Beyonce... It's bad enough that she has to flaunt her figure in Crazy for Love (that b@#&£, I wish I had her figure). Whatever are they going to do with her? A Wii fitness dance game of sorts. If you want to dance for fun, go to the nearest arcade and play Dance Dance. I don't think that the Wii fitness board thingy is technologically capable for anyone not just us girls, to copy her Crazy for Love dance moves. You have a better chance losing calories on pole dancing.

Ok firstly there are way more males who play games compared to women so a fitness game for women might be a flop, Secondly..... ok I dont have a secondly but I dont see how a game that is aimed at women specifically can really take off to be a sucseeful game, sure there will be those weird guys who just want to stalk Beyonce playing but other wise.... I dont think so.

these fitness games are coming out of no where. i went to walmart tonite and was looking at the wii games and they had at least 10 fitness games. is any of them even help you lose weight? i remember nintendo saying wii fit doesnt help you lose it.
