Summer games sales are in full swing across the PlayStation Store and more. Here are the best game deals to be aware of.

Comments

Normally at this time of year, E3 is in full swing, bringing new game announcements and trailers to look forward to all week long. While E3 2020 was canceled and most publishers are having some kind of online showcase this summer, the E3 sales are out in full force, bringing thousands of steep discounts for PS4 and PC games. This is the time of year when we tend to see the best prices on games outside of Black Friday, so it's worth taking a gander at all the sales and discounts available online right now.

Below, we've rounded up the biggest gaming sales happening right now and highlighted some of the best deals they're offering. Some of the sales have already ended and been removed from this list, like Nintendo's Summer Sale and Xbox's Deals Unlocked Sale, so be sure to check out the deals that are still left. Most of these sales end in the next day or two. Major retailers are price-matching many of the official deals offered in the Nintendo Eshop, PlayStation Store, and Xbox Store. Steam users have a little longer to wait for their massive games sale--Steam's 2020 Summer Sale is expected to launch on June 25. Plus, as E3 2020 press conferences move online, check out our updated schedule of digital E3 replacement events happening in June and July.

PlayStation Days of Play Sale

Ends June 18

Last week's PlayStation 5 livestream offered an exciting look at PlayStation's next generation of games and hardware, but we've still got months to go before the PS5's launch. Right now, PS4 owners can take advantage of the annual Days of Play sale happening now on the PlayStation Store and at major retailers to pick up some new games for cheap. Both physical and digital games are up for grabs in Days of Play along with discounts on PlayStation Plus and PS4 headsets. Unfortunately for anyone who was hoping to snag a PS4 for cheap this summer, consoles aren't a part of Days of Play this year. Days of Play focuses mainly on platform exclusives, so you can find excellent prices on Death Stranding, Marvel's Spider-Man, and MLB The Show 20. PSVR games like Astro Bot Rescue Mission see major discounts as well.

Ubisoft Summer Sale

Ends June 17

Ubisoft's summer digital showcase, Ubisoft Forward, won't take place until July 12, but its annual E3 sale is already live. Ubisoft's Summer Sale offers up to 80% off some of the publisher's best games, including a special offer on Rainbow Six Siege's Gold or Ultimate editions that gets you an additional 20% off your entire cart at checkout. You can grab the Gold edition on sale for $27.49 and the Ultimate edition for $45. Plus, you can snag Assassin's Creed Odyssey and Ghost Recon Breakpoint for just $19.80 each, and The Division 2's Warlords Edition (which includes the base game and new expansion) is $30.

Origin Infinite Gaming Sale

Ends June 18

Just like last year, the Origin Store is also having a major sale with up to 70% off some of EA's biggest games, and it ends on June 18, the same day as EA's big summer showcase, EA Play. Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is down to $30, and you can grab Apex Legends' Lifeline and Bloodhound Double Pack for $25.34. Plus, The Sims 4 and a bunch of its expansion packs are on sale, along with Need for Speed Heat, Titanfall 2, and Star Wars Battlefront II.

Square Enix June Sale

Ends June 23

PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC games all feature in Square Enix's big sale happening this month, with excellent discounts on some of the publisher's best franchises, from Final Fantasy to Kingdom Hearts. The Square Enix sale includes the Kingdom Hearts All-in-One Package that released earlier this year for $40, while Kingdom Hearts III is down to $15. Plus, snag the newly released Trials of Mana for $40 and Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster for $30.
