At long last, Minecraft's chart-topping performance has been interrupted, at least for one month. Destiny was the top-selling game on the PlayStation Store in North America during September on both PS4 and PS3.

Sony today released its monthly chart of the best-selling PSN games in September. After dominating the PS3 charts every month since its release last year, the sandbox building game was pushed down to the number two slot, which is where it debuted on PS4.

The rest of PS4's list is not especially surprising; FIFA 15 and Shadow of Mordor were up near the top, with games like Madden 15, NHL 15, and Diablo III also making it into the top ten.

PS3's chart is a bit more diverse in terms of how recent (or not) its games are, with Need for Speed: Most Wanted, Grand Theft Auto IV, and Okami HD all in the top ten.

Vita's list, as usual, seems to be most heavily influenced by what was on sale during the month, though one of its bigger (if very niche) releases--Danganronpa 2--did make it to number four.
