While we're mostly done with Black Friday 2019 this year, Cyber Monday 2019 has already snuck up on us, meaning there are more PS4 console and accessory deals to look over if you're still trying to put together your holiday gift list for the year. Among the PS4 Cyber Monday 2019 deals are a great PS4 Pro bundle with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, nice price cuts on DualShock 4 controllers, and more.

One thing to know about right away is this Amazon lightning deal on PS4 Pro. For $300, you get a Pro and three great games: Marvel's Spider-Man, God of War, and Horizon Zero Dawn's Complete Edition. At the time of this writing, it's 80% claimed, so you'll need to act fast if you're interested--a lot of PS4 bundles have been selling out, and this is certainly one of the best we've seen on Black Friday or Cyber Monday. [Update: This bundle is now unavailable.]

Retailers often sell some of the same console bundles, accessories, and games at the same price as Black Friday on Cyber Monday, with some of the best deals being restocked for a limited time. Hopefully we'll see a few surprises, though. Retailers like GameStop, Walmart, and Best Buy still have lingering Black Friday deals, and Amazon has early Cyber Monday deals available now.

As a PS4 and PSVR gamer, I'm most excited at the fact that very likely another couple of million or so gamers will be supporting VR after this holiday season and of course the more VR headsets that sell, the better the gaming experiences in VR will become.

@restatbonfire: PSVR is cheaper this Black Friday than it's ever been in the US and Canada. We're kind of in a lul period right now as far as the consoles themselves go with the PS5 & Scarlett launching in a year from now. Most people who wanted a PS4 already own one (thus the over 100 million sales), most of the hardcore Nintendo fans have a Switch, Xbox One sales are not that great and MS is pretty much focusing on Game Pass and the upcoming launch of Scarlett. So what new frontier or new experiences can console gamers have THIS Holiday season? PSVR offers something new and revolutionary - anyone who's been over to my house and tried it wants to buy it immediately but it's generally too expensive for a peripheral for most. I think A LOT of current PS4 owners are going to get PSVR under their Christmas trees this year.

Okay us gamers have pretty much bought a 8th gen consoles years ago. But in the gaming industry hardcore gamers point the ship's direction but it is the common consumer that drives it. And there are still 10's of millions that will buy a 8th gen console for the first time or at least buy another. the ps4 with 3 top exclusive games is insane and at a good price of $200, while xbox one has matched this price with only one game, star wars pretty good one.

I really wish that Xbox would have put out a lower priced console by $20 and more games, at a better deal the Sony. If your gonna go out of the current generation of gaming, at least go out with a bang not a whimper. I really hope for a super competitive 9th gen with three equally strong platforms, even if MS loses money now, it will help their brand come 9th gen.

@jmartin1016:

I would be a better deal if it was $300, but both consoles are still a decent deal for the money. But here is why xbox one x should be $300.

Respawn's new singleplayer-only Star Wars game will have to separate modes on PS4 Pro and Xbox One X: a mode that prioritizes resolution with upscaled 4K visuals at 30FPS, and a performance mode that hits 1080p 60FPS.

and this youtube comparison video video showing the results of all 4 consoles side by side. Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order - Xbox One vs. Xbox One S vs. Xbox One X vs. PS4 vs. PS4 Pro

@jenovaschilld:

Results: the game is awesome and is wonderful on all 4 consoles. FPS dips below 30 fps freq on both older consoles, and also dips at 60 fps on both pro and one X. Very few differences on pro and X regardless of modes. And truthfully unless you are really looking for it, not much different across all platforms xbox s to X, ps4 s to pro, and even PC. On PC it plays decent though there is a fps block and they are waiting desperately now for updates to really push the limits.

So again, the problem is : games are made towards ps4 architecture first and ported else where second. (not a problem in and of itself) The results though is that there is not much difference. And there are no xbox one X games that truly, take advantage of the xbox x code to the metal - none that truly shines on the console .... enough... to justify a higher price at this time. Yes there are multi-plats that have a few fps here and there, but none that justify the extra money.

So if you really want xbox x with fall - it is a good deal, if you want different games, probably not. you could also buy the --While many stores will be selling the PlayStation Pro for $300 ($100 off its usual price) on Black Friday, ANTOnline via Rak uten has Sony PlayStation 4 Pro 1TB with extra controller for $294 with code ANT59C. -- and just pick up fallen for $30 and have some money left over and an extra controller. similar deals like this on ne wegg and others.

by the time 9th gen console games are saturated enough it will be two years away, buying either 8th gen console now will be worth it, though some exclusives might push you towards the pro. If you only have an xbox or ps - grab the other, or switch. The 8 th gen has had some amazing games on all consoles. But i stand by what i said above, MS really needed to make a bolder move this holiday.

If you have never had a PS4 and never played GOW, Horizon, and Last of US that 200 dollar deal is really worth it. Those are top twenty games of all time.

@alastor529: Because Sony are still consumed by corporate greed. With just one year to go until the next generation of consoles, Sony should be offering their best machine for a knockdown price even before sales but they know they have the monopoly on the market at present and are attempting to finagle every last penny/cent/rin they can whilst the going is good.

@mogan: In order to sell as many consoles as possible for one. The market is now saturated with PS4's and anyone who's interested already has one. To get a few more upgrades from those who already own a 'vanilla' PS4, they really do need to cut the prices of the Pro model.

@gotrekfabian: how about this, then. Capitalism means businesses want to make money. It also means they will sell a product for whatever price strikes a balance between supply and demand. If people keep buying a console at a high price, and the company is happy with the level of sales, it’s just basic economics. Why would they lower the price? People/consumers are signalling they are happy with the price and voting with their dollars. Nobody is forcing them to buy it. Your comment seems to assume people have no choice but to pay an unfair or over-inflated price and Sony is bad for forcing this. That’s not accurate at all. People chose to buy the console rather than wait and Sony will lower the price only if they feel they need to to increase sales.

@ZIMdoom: No, I'm talking business strategy. As the PS4 draws towards the end of its life cycle there are fewer purchasers (which you don't seem to realise given your comment) and even more will consider holding out one more year instead of paying what will be likely be a similar amount for PS5. Sure, inflation dictates that PS5 will likely be a little more but would you spend £350/$400 right now knowing that a new console is inbound? No, of course you wouldn't. Sony are driven by greed and have been this entire generation, if you don't see that then you're either arguing for the sake of it or truly blind to Sony's downturn in recent years and their subsequent business plans with PlayStation. Take a look at the pricing of digital games on the PS Store over the last few years, there has been a ~20% increase on AAA digital games and a 25% increase on PS Plus subscriptions and that is not just due to inflation as that would limit it to a much lesser percentage.

Sony are greedy, not just business savvy as you seem to think.

@gotrekfabian: this implies you know more about business strategy in the video game world than the single most successful console maker of all time. Sorry, but I have to question that belief, intended or not. I personally think all corporations are greedy, so I don’t think Sony is any different or unique in this regard. That is where I differ. The Xbox is currently doing abysmally for MS. I don’t see them dropping their price to drum up more sales as you claim Sony should do. What is the price of their online plans? I already have a PS4 so a price drop now doesn’t really mean anything to me. Would it pick up sales? Sure it would. But I think if someone is waiting for a PS5, they probably won’t buy a PS4 now anyway. Or if they want lan on waiting a while before jumping into PS5, I’m not sure a small price drop would really affect that either. So I don’t know. But I assume that Sony, who has fairly consistently been #1 almost every gen since they showed up and has consistently sold over 100 million consoles, has a better idea of strategy than you or I.

@ZIMdoom: And by your own argument, that argument about me knowing better applies to you as well.

My argument is that their greed is clouding their judgement and they could make more by dropping their prices. There's no way of proving it but cementing their lead in the console stakes by selling more units in order to garner further loyalty from the public should be something they automatically think of as has been the case for every generation of Playstation so far. Consoles have traditionally dropped in price towards the end of their life cycle due to saturation and technology becoming "outdated" and thus cheaper to manufacture (cpu's/gpu's/ram). I'm not just talking nonsense here, Sonys business strategies have been questionable for the last 10 years or so and only SIE (formerly SCE) has been consistently producing a decent profit for them. If you don't believe me then look it up, Sony business plans have been a shambles.

@gotrekfabian: this is honestly one of the dumbest things I’ve heard today. Literally all I’ve said is I trust Sony’s knowledge of their own console business more than I will trust YOUR supposed console business wisdom...and your response is “well that applies to you too!” The rest of what you post is pointless gibberish I honestly couldn’t care less about. I’m seriously done with idiots on this site.

@deactivated-5dd711115e664: So you read the first line and got triggered? Stating that I didn't know what a monopoly was, was the start of your argument and now I put further facts in you declare it as "dumb". This is a forum for conversation and contemplation. You simply aren't willing to take in what I'm saying which says all I need to know about you.
