The Nintendo Switch has been a massive success over the past three years. Merging Nintendo's console and handheld markets has proven to be a brilliant strategy and led the Switch to become home to an eclectic assortment of first-party games, third-party gems, and a ton of indies. It's cliche, but there really is something for everyone on the Switch. With such a massive library already, the Switch has no shortage of excellent games. But if you're looking for a place to start your Switch journey or want to fill out your collection, we've rounded up the 25 best Nintendo Switch games available now. We'll continue to update this roundup as more games are released, and we're listing these games in alphabetical order, not ranked.

Most of Nintendo's most popular franchises are present in a big way on Nintendo Switch, including instant classics such as The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Super Mario Odyssey as well as enhanced ports of standout Wii U games. The tentpole first-party games are surrounded by a treasure trove of inventive indies and phenomenal third-party games, including hits such as Hades, Celeste, and Paradise Killer. With such an impressive library, it was a challenge to narrow this list down to 25, and there are certainly plenty more games that just barely missed the cut.
