NBA 2K23: Top 10 Point Guards
The following is Visual Concepts' in-game list of the best playmakers in NBA 2K23:
- Stephen Curry - 96 OVR
- Luka Doncic - 95 OVR
- Ja Morant - 93 OVR
- Chris Paul - 90 OVR
- Trae Young - 90 OVR
- Damian Lillard - 89 OVR
- James Harden - 89 OVR
- Kyrie Irving - 89 OVR
- Darius Garland - 87 OVR
- LaMelo Ball - 87 OVR
It's still Steph Curry over everybody. The NBA Finals MVP is up there in age (34), but he helped the Warriors win their fourth title in eight years while averaging 31.2 points and shooting 43.7% from the three line in six games against the Celtics. Dallas' Luka Doncic is headed for an MVP campaign after being selected to the All-NBA First Team for the third season in a row and Ja Morant–well, "Black Jesus" believes he "would have cooked" Michael Jordan back in his era (and he might be right).
Phoenix's Chris Paul led the NBA in assists (10.8), LaMelo Ball averaged 20 points in Charlotte, and James Harden got a new primary with 22.0 points and 10.3 assists for the Sixers. Damian Lillard and Kyrie Irving plan to rebound from their injuries (and stay healthy), and Darius Garland has a new teammate in Cleveland (Donovan Mitchell) who might elevate him past last season's 21.7 points and 8.6 assists per game. The outlier? It's Trae Young. The 23-year-old led the entire NBA in both total points (2155) and total assists (737) while also shooting 90.4% from the free throw line.
Trae's new duo Dejounte Murray (86) follows behind with OKC's Shai-Gilgeous Alexander (87), Milwaukee's Jrue Holiday (86), New Orleans' CJ McCollum (85), and the Kings' De'Aaron Fox (84). Others include: Jamal Murray (84), Fred VanVleet (83), and D'Angelo Russell (82).
