Black Friday and Cyber Monday are offering up a wide selection of gaming monitor deals, including those with higher refresh rates, 4K resolution, and more.

If you're looking to snag a great deal on a gaming monitor before the holidays kick off, then Cyber Monday is your best chance. Black Friday had a ton of discounts on some of the best gaming monitors out there, and many of those are continuing into Cyber Monday. Whether you're looking for a high resolution, fast refresh rate, or short response time, there's a deal on a monitor that's right for the type of games you play. Competitive gamers who play shooters and other genres will get a kick out of some of the 240Hz monitors that are discounted, providing an incredibly smooth image and experience.

One of the biggest features that has become more prominent this year is HDMI 2.1, which the PS5, Xbox Series X, and the RTX 30 series of graphics cards take advantage of. This technology gives you access to 4K and 120Hz as well as features like variable refresh rate (VRR) and auto low-latency mode (ALLM). Unfortunately, however, there are no monitors with HDMI 2.1 at the moment. That means we can't determine the best gaming monitor for PS5 or the best gaming monitor for Xbox Series X. Thankfully, all of the monitors in our list are perfectly capable of displaying both new consoles, you just won't get access to these extra benefits. If these deals don’t fit your needs, be sure to check out our list of the best cheap gaming monitors.

If you are looking for an HDMI 2.1-capable display, check out the best 4K TV deals for Black Friday 2020. There are a number of TVs that boast the relatively new technology and will make perfect displays for the PS5 and Xbox Series X.

If you're looking for more deals, take a look at all of the Black Friday 2020 ads released so far. As usual, there are a lot of retailers taking part in the big sale, so you'll want to familiarize yourself with the offers you're interested in and be ready when they go on sale. Stay tuned for many retailers to begin releasing their Cyber Monday ads over the weekend as well.

At this point I’m only looking at the 43 inchers that do 4k. Anything less and you might as well game on a console.

@jsprunk: Esport gamers game on 24" 120-240 hz monitors exclusively to decrease screen area in their peripheral vision, car and airplane sims prefer ultra wides, and me I require an IPS HDR monitor since my games are more story book, RPG, wow that look so much better then VA or TN monitors. And I also do work, like photoshop, Indesign, adope light. A 32" monitor starts to have pixel spread and lose detail.

But that is why monitors come in all flavor and design. And often times, consoles look great on monitors as well. While I would not suggest a 43" for most uses, luckily there is a flavor for us all.

@jenovaschilld: Well, unfortunately the person who put that list together doesn’t agree with you, since there aren’t any 43” screens included, which is why I mentioned it. And I don’t care what you’re playing, the game could be Minecraft on a 4k 43” screen and it’s going to look nothing short of magical.
