Comments

The best Charlotte build in Genshin Impact will help you get the most out of this plucky reporter, and you’ll want to if you’re looking for another great Cryo support character. Charlotte is an interesting character that can dole out damage or heal, but she actually scales with her ATK stat in both cases, making her a bit more viable.

She’s a four-star character which means that she does have a few drawbacks. She deals rather low damage with normal attacks, but can dish out some decent Cryo damage using her skill, and in a wide area too. Aside from slightly lower numbers than a five-star would have, she’s also got a rather high energy requirement if you want to use her healing abilities, which are tied to her burst. She could well be worth it though, so here’s everything you need to know about the best Charlotte build, including artifacts, weapons, and teams.

Best Charlotte Artifacts

Charlotte’s best artifact set is going to be the Ocean-Hued Clam set. This set grants a healing bonus as a two-piece set, and as a four-piece set creates a bubble that lasts for three seconds, and takes note of the healing you’re doing before exploding to deal damage based on that healing to enemies within range.

If you don’t have a good set for that one, then Noblesse Oblige is always a good shout, which offers a party-wide buff when you have a four-piece set of it.

In terms of stats, you’ll likely want to go for Energy Recharge on your sands, ATK% on your goblet, and then Healing Bonus on your circlet. If you can get enough Energy Recharge with substats then an ATK% sands is a good option too.

Best Charlotte Weapons

Because Charlotte has some hefty Energy Recharge requirements, your best bet here will be the trust Favonius Codex, which not only grants additional Energy Recharge in its substats, but also allows you to gain extra particles when she manages a critical hit. Because of that passive though, try to aim for at least 30% Crit Rate for consistent procs of this powerful ability.

If you’re not keen on that, then a good craftable option is the Prototype Amber, which can help heal and give energy to teammates, but we really recommend the Favonius Codex here. You can always use other Energy Recharge substat weapons too in a pinch, but they’re rarely as worthwhile.

Best Charlotte Teams

Charlotte is a Cryo healer, which means she’ll generally be at her best in freeze teams. So, you can use her with just about any combination of Hydro, Cryo, and Anemo characters as you’d like. In terms of specific characters, she should work well with Wriothesley and Neuvillette if you’re going all-in on Fontaine characters.

She can also work in other teams too, potentially like melt teams with a Pyro damage dealer, but she’s not going to be as efficient there as other Cryo supports like Layla or Diona. She’s a solid healer, but she’s got a lot of competition, unfortunately.
