Father’s Day is this Sunday, June 18, and whether you need to find a last-minute gift or just want to save on today’s hottest electronics for your own personal use, be sure to check out Best Buy’s weekend sale. Everything from movies and video games to TVs and sound bars is getting steep discounts until Sunday--so pushing off Father’s Day shopping may have just saved you a bunch of cash.

If you’re looking for something affordable, consider checking out the massive library of discounted movies. Most of these are of the 4K Ultra HD variety, with some even including collectible steelbooks. Notable discounts include The Batman for $10 (down from $30), Dune for $10 (down from $30), and The Matrix Resurrections Steelbook for $13 (down from $35).

Plenty of video games are on sale too--although it’s video game accessories that are a bit more enticing. For example, the standard Xbox Series X controller is down to just $50 right now, making it a great time to pick up a gamepad for Player Two. You’ll also find the PS5 God of War Bundle for $500 (down from $560), which includes a PS5 console, DualSense controller, and a copy of God of War Ragnarok. This deal will still be available after Father's Day, but it's definitely worth considering still.

Tons of other cool gadgets are getting price cuts right now, such as the HP Omen 25L Gaming Desktop (RTX 3060) for $1,000 (down from $1,300), a 65-Inch Samsung Smart TV for $450 (down from $670), and the Bose QuietComfort Earbuds for $150 (down from $200).

The full catalog has dozens of other great deals, so be sure to swing by and check out the event. Remember, the promotion ends on Sunday--so move fast if you want to save big.
