Ellie actress Bella Ramsey says she had an awkward and bashful initial interaction with Joel voice actor Troy Baker on the set of HBO's The Last of Us. So basically the polar opposite of how the characters meet in the video game and show.

The official HBO Max Twitter account shared a video of Ramsey and Baker discussing their first time crossing paths. "It was so cool meeting Troy," Ramsey said. "I'd never seen him before. I'd seen pictures of him, but I'd never met him."

She was apparently exiting her trailer when Baker noticed a door fling open. "We just had this, like, really quick awkward, shy interaction between the two of us. 'Cause I'm quite shy," said Ramsey.

But as they acted together on The Last of Us set for Episode 8, Ramsey said they created a nice bond. "I got on so well with him," she said. Baker, for his part, was very complimentary of Ramsey as well. "She is Ellie, through and through. Blood to bone. It was incredible," Baker said.

Speaking of Baker, the actor recently admitted that he didn't remember who James was when he was cast for HBO's The Last of Us. But the actor quickly grew excited when he remembered the fate of David's lieutenant.

The Last of Us Episode 8 set a new viewership record for the show, with 8.1 million viewers. The season finale airs this Sunday on HBO.
