Become an Eagle and Fly Over Paris in Ubisoft's New VR Game
I want to fly like an eagle.
During Sony's PlayStation Experience keynote address today, Ubisoft announced a brand new virtual reality game called Eagle Flight. In the game, you become an eagle and fly over the streets of Paris. If you've ever had a dream about flying, this game looks to re-create that feeling.

Eagle Flight is slated to launch in 2016 for all major VR platforms: PlayStation VR, Oculus Rift, and HTC Vive.
The game was developed by Ubisoft Montreal's FunHouse division. Eagle Flight's version of Paris is complete with the city's famous landmarks, but takes place 50 years after humans left the city.
"Nature and wildlife has taken back the city, creating a rich playground and offering an incredible experience of free flight and adventure," Ubisoft said.
Eagle Flight supports single-player as well as two multiplayer modes that support up to six players.
One of the main concerns about VR in general is that it might make you sick. But Ubisoft says this shouldn't be the case for Eagle Flight, thanks in part to its use of "technology breakthoughts."
"Eagle Flight has been developed specifically for VR with a strong focus on accessibility and comfort," it explained. "As a result, the game features an Ubisoft-developed VR control technology breakthrough that provides players with intuitive and precise controls. The new technology greatly reduces chances of motion sickness while enabling players to quickly master their skills in order to perform impressive stunts and experience the true sensation of flight."
Eagle Flight is Ubisoft's first game developed exclusively for VR. You can learn more about it here.
