Batwoman Season 3 Casts Riverdale's Robin Givens

Givens will play a businesswoman named Jada Jet in the next season of the DC show.


Riverdale star Robin Givens is set to appear in the upcoming Batwoman Season 3. Givens will play Jada Jet, a new character created for the DC show.

As reported by Deadline, Jet is the CEO for of Jet industries. According to a character synopsis, Jet is "a woman who has worked her way through life's ups and downs to climb her way to the top--all while being extremely protective over her impetuous son. A woman with a deep past that forced her to give up her first-born child, Jada is a woman with a good heart, but will do whatever it takes to protect her family."

Givens played Sierra McCoy on the first three seasons of Riverdale. She's also known for appearances in Lucifer, Once Upon a Time, and Twisted, as well as '90s movies such as Boomerang, A Rage in Harlem, and Blankman.

Batwoman Season 3 premieres on The CW on October 13, with Javicia Leslie in the title role once more. Her character, Ryan Wilder, is the show's second Batwoman, with Ruby Rose having played Kate Kane in Season 1. The show will screen back-to-back with DC's Legends of Tomorrow each week, which is about to start its seventh season. The Flash also returns to The CW this fall, with Season 8 premiering on November 16.

While The CW's roster of DC series remains strong, there are also a number of shows being developed for HBO Max. These include the Suicide Squad series Peacemaker, the Batman spin-off focusing on the Gotham PD, Catwoman, and the Green Lantern.
