The scale of war demonstrated in Battlestations: Midway just got a bit more grand. Eidos today released more downloadable content for the World War II strategy game over Xbox Live Marketplace. Dubbed the "Iowa Mission Pack," the download is available in all regions except Japan and costs 400 Microsoft points ($5).

Included in the pack are a new multiplayer map called Battle of the Sibuyan Sea (which features the battleships the Iowa and the Yamato squaring off), a new single-player challenge mission called Raid on Truk, and five new units--the Iowa battleship, the P-38 Lightning, the Gekko, the IJN Shimakaze Destroyer, and the Japanese minisub.

Battlestations: Midway is rated T for Teen and retails for $59.99. For more information, read GameSpot's review.
