All you have to do is log into Battlefield V by November 4 to claim these extras.

Like other games, Battlefield V is giving out a series of freebies to celebrate Halloween. Since the horrors of World War II aren't the same kind of horrors we typically celebrate at Halloween, these additions are welcome.

Everyone who simply logs into the game on any platform can claim a new "Dead of Night" Panzer IV skin for the tank. Additionally, the "Splattered" skin for the Sturmgewehr 1-5, Tromboncino, KE7, and the Gewehr M95/30 weapons is being given away for everyone. As its name suggests, this weapon skin is meant to look like splattered blood to help people get into the spooky Halloween theme.

Yes, you have until November 4 to claim the goodies. Think of it like the extra chocolate at the store after Halloween ends, except instead of being on the clearance rack, it's completely free.

In other news about Battlefield V, EA Play Pro subscribers have been automatically upgraded to the Definitive Edition of the game, which includes all of the DLC released over the past two years.

The Definitive Edition is available to purchase by itself for $50 USD.

The next Battlefield game is currently in development at series creator DICE, and it's scheduled for release in 2021 on PS5 and Xbox Series X, as well as PC. Battlefield V and Battlefield 1 took place during historical time periods; the last modern-day Battlefield game was 2015's Battlefield Hardline.

GameSpot's Battlefield V review scored the game an 8/10. "The core conceits of Battlefield remain mostly untouched, but small tweaks have been made to the formula, most of which are welcome," wrote reviewer Michael Higham.
