Battlefield 5 Buying Guide: Xbox One, PS4, And PC

The Battlefield series is going back to WW2.

Battlefield V is available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Over the years, this series has jumped around between time periods and military conflicts, but the new installment brings us back to where it all started: the battlefields of World War II.

It comes with a single-player campaign called War Stories that's divided into vignettes--much like 2016's Battlefield 1--plus an array of multiplayer modes that include many fan favorites. Also, coming next year is a new battle royale mode called Firestorm, along with numerous other modes and maps, all for free. Read our Battlefield V review for our thoughts on the current state of the game.
