Battlefield 4 will have vehicle testing range

I always remember how good dice make batllefield 1942 until bf2 looks very great, and how stupid he's forget bots and mods support in next game, I don't understand how maximum push "money oriented" they are, but thks for making good game although everyone gonna hate you,

I'm glad they added this mode. I could never get flying down the right way and because the battle was going on I didn't want to waste time learning. This will deff get many more players involved in using vehicles.

I would like bots because sometimes I bring my PS3 places that doesn't have internet. When that happens, BF3 becomes useless. There's only so many times you can play single player.

You guys and the bots.. I can't understand why you guys want this, PvP is a milion times more engaging, and if is for training purposes that doesnt cut it, the best way to train and get better in this game is playing it how is suppose to be played, online with real players on your team and against you. Btw I also like the idea for the test range for vehicles.

No bots, while not surprising, is slightly disappointing, but the vehicle testing range is a really good idea...

a very smart move to have vehicle testing range, that was a problem with the previous games because you would find complete noobs crashing helicopters you were in because they don't know how to fly them.

I have yet to try an air vehicle in BF3 after hopping into one too many copters only to crash about ten seconds later.

Is it JUST for vehicles though, will we be able to choose a loadout like normally and just run around doing whatever?

Or will we finally be able to play private matches without having to pay for them via the stupid "rent-a-server"?

Thank god. That means fewer of my teammates will die cause of me crashing into hills. Or mountains. Or flat terrain. Or water. Or anything else that exist in the world.

wish there was a vehicle tutorial you had to pass before it lets u into the multiplayer vehicles. cant believe how many times i got into a helicopter when the game came out and some noob would jump in and crash the helicopter sideways.

Finally...

BF2 bots (unmodded) ran only on 16 player maps, and that was fine.

Running a 16 player map with bots in BF4 should really not be a major feat. Of course, it may be limited in relation to what sorts of vehicles the bots use, but some bots are always better than no bots.

15 bots and you should not bog down any computer that can run BF4/3. I think they just really don't want to fool with it and want to force everybody to be on line to play anything BF in the first place.

Why can't they add private matches that have bots? This helps a lot of people learn and practice without screwing up other peoples games. At least we can now practice with the vehicles.

Wow, they finally did what everyone has been asking them to do for nearly a decade. Still....that makes them better at getting shit done then our Congress.

(xbox360) I jump on specific servers on bf3 because their lore says mic only. When I go in and find out only 1-2 people are on voip team, I get really pissed. They need to create dedicated matched for people that actually want to communicate and not just rake up kills. HELLO, you get points quicker if you actually capture shit! - frustrated bf3 player.

p.s I'm getting a PS4 so I hope people communicate better on there.

If it doesn't support bots, I don't want it. Although the whole Battlefield franchise is built upon playing with real people and having to coordinate, it's just not Battlefield anymore. It became a kind of CoD with vehicles. What if I don't want to play with a bunch of strangers that just want to get a high score? I remember Battlefield from the first one (1942) and still have the discs. Sometimes, it was more fun to play with bots because they actually followed the game's core mechanic - capture the flags and get those tickets. The moment a player enters the B-17 and doesn't wait for the rest of the team to get inside just because he wants to start dropping bombs the game loses its purpose. Also, some friends and I used to play just us and bots because we didn't want strangers ruining the game. So, that can't be done anymore? Guess I'll keep playing a game from 2002 instead of this.

But battlefield already has a test range .... it's called an empty server with the map that holds the vehicle you want to try out.

O this is beautiful! I have to admit that I just can't do vehicle combat in Battlefield online, I wanted a training ground en now I'm getting a training ground because getting into a helicopter and crashing it in 3 seconds when you are in a match is not very manly :P

But.... I prefer crashing a helicopter like an idiot

This is a good feature, besides the co-op missions there was no way to get used to flying the helicopter in BF3 which was a pain, and you stood no change with jets right at the begging...

Also if they get Vita support sorted, I'll be getting one in a heart beat.

@ghostwarrior79 I laughed when you said that Call of Duty has a good single player campaign. Neither Call of Duty or Battlefield have good campaign modes and Battlefield's online play is by far better than Call of Duty's.

this is actually nice. i prefer testing before playing so im not owned while trying to pilot the heli. many times ive been owned while riding the damn thing... god.

good touch. all of these elements testing field, new modes, commander, sharing, etc I hope will bring the battlefield community together like never before
