Battlefield 4 PC bug causing game to freeze, fix found for windows 7 :)

(1) Re-install and repair Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5.1

<< LINK REMOVED >>

(2) Uninstall the game by using Origin, by right clicking on the game and selecting uninstall.

(don't worry by doing this you will not losses any previous progress in the game)

(3) Now re-install the game back on to your PC.

This method really worked for me, and its still work after four days playing the games.

Kudos to Gamespot for covering this issue. EA has been trying really hard to keep this "under the rug", first with complete silence to players complaints and more recently, with posts regarding this problem being stripped of their "sticky" status on their official forums, even though the problem is still not solved (after almost two weeks).
If gaming is to become the biggest entertainment industry, bot EA and Dice have a long way to go. Both in final product quality and customer service/communication.

I just can inform that this crash/error happens only in operation locker, breakdown and paracal storm atlest for me

I just found a fix. Try setting ur network smoothing factor to default : 50%

I think many of you are forgetting that these are just bugs.
The game itself is amazing.
Once they fix all these issues and bugs, everything will be great.

Unlike ghost, which have issues on its own mechanism,

"We're gonna' try to be smart about what customers want in the future".

How about give that "try" to not rushing your game like money hungry morons and allowing your developing team to do what they were hired to do. It's sad on a pathetic level that even someone insignificant to the game business industry can tell you where you went wrong. You might as well make a community announcement that you're sorry for having the IQ of a stick of celery.

Thank god I'm not the only one experiencing this. I bought the game, fine, but this crash is affecting gameplay ever 10 minutes or so. Oddly enough, I've been able to play whole games fine on bigger maps, but on the close quarters ones like Op. Locker, it just freezes up.

What gives EA? This is what you get for being greedy and releasing a game early, and on 6 different platforms. But maybe that was part of their cunning plan, so that they could then charge $10 each for the extra FIVE DLCs that are coming out this year. EA is simply the worst company on the face of the planet. Worse than friggin' Monsanto or Blackwater. Anyway, MY issue is with the PC version, which is damn near unforgivable in this day and age. It's 2014 people, if you're going to sell a product, make sure it frickin' works. Grrrrrrrr!...

I don't see how operation Metro was a fan favorite, everyone I talk to HATES it, should've done Kharg Island instead of it

If this is news, then take a look at Dust, it's full of news, you could fill a whole day reporting on it.

Its freezing on everything now.....DICE you really F'ed up with this one. I hope they learned their lesson and not to rush things out the door in the future.

This game is just not fun. BF3 was frustrating with the out of region players having a distinct advantage over in region players but is nothing compaired to this thrown together cash grab that is BF4. Dice just released yet another game update and again it fixes NOTHING important and has created MORE bugs further damaging the game. The main problems which break the game have yet to be addressed. Server and player lag destroys the game and EA refuses to recognize that its on their end. Thousands of players have made complaints on Battlelog that seem to fall on deaf ears. The lag is apparent when targeting an opponent then trying to lead the target when firing. On LMG's, the player can hear the stumble of the gunfire and see that horrid lack of consistency in bullet production. Another area that needs a fix is aiming in general. Why have crosshairs or even a sight when a player can aim accurately at another player and not hit anything. Be it automatic fire or burst fire, I have had still soldiers dead on in the crosshairs at center mass and not been able to get a hit on them. Hit detection can be blamed, lag, or just the craptastic bullet spread designed into the game. I have fired on players to see the bullet trail go off into a random direction not even close to where I aimed. I have also stood 3 meters from a player spraying into his back with an LMG to have him turn around and kill me with a simple burst of fire. I have attempted to knife players from the rear only to have a "delay" in which somehow I am on the receiving end of the knife with no option to counter it. I have been shot through solid walls with no doors or windows around and I am one level above the shooter and in a different part of the map. Any lock on type weapon is a sure hit. Anyone on the receiving end gets little and most of the time no warning of a lock. By the time the warning of incoming missle sounds you are already hit. Furthermore, countermeasures are useless. There is a 5 to 10 second delay between the player activating it and when it actually fires off. There are many, many more problens to this game but again I would be writing a book for you here and I really don't have the time to sit writing for hours.

BF4 is almost reaching unsalvageable proportions. BF3 is superior in every way minus the new toyz; Fire up a game and find yourself loving battlefield again with hit detection that just works. BF4 is nothing but a crapshoot, instagib exercise in frustration.

And there is another bug that causes my computer to freeze.I have to turn it off manualy when this happens and then turn it on if I wanna play it more.I hate this bug

Having that same issue from last 2 days and I was assuming that something happened with my windows.

BF 3 was more or less in the same state when it was released on pc. I've learned my lesson then, and only spent 20 pounds for the standard bf4 edition. I'll buy expansions and premium when I'll think the game is worth it, if it's worth it and something better doesn't come out. For a full experience EA is charging double the ammount of money a normal company would. I expect a superior level of quality for that amount of money. Not an inferior one.
