Battlefield 4 minimum and recommended specs revealed
DICE recommends an Intel Quad-Core processor, 8GB of RAM, and an Nvidia GTX 660.
DICE has announced its minimum and recommended PC specifications for the upcoming shooter Battlefield 4.
An Intel Quad-Core or six-core AMD processor is recommended, with an Intel Core 2 Duo or Athlon X2 the minimum requirement. An Nvidia GTX 660 or Radeon HD 7870 is the recommended graphics card, but DICE says the game will also run on a GeForce 8800 GT.
4GB of RAM is the minimum, but 8GB is recommended. 3GB of graphics memory is also recommended.
As for the operating system, DICE recommends Windows 8 64-bit, but will function on Windows Vista SP2 32-bit.
Battlefield 4 will also require 30GB of free hard drive space.
The PC, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3 versions of Battlefield 4 will launch on October 29. Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions will follow later in the year.
