Battlefield 4 double XP event rescheduled for tomorrow
Premium subscribers can earn double experience points for 58 straight hours starting January 3.
Battlefield 4's latest double XP event for Premium subscribers will now take place January 3-5, developer DICE announced today. The event was previously scheduled to begin in December, but was delayed last week as connectivity issues continued to beset the online shooter.
The double XP event starts Friday, January 3 at 8 a.m. EDT and runs for 58 hours until Sunday, January 5 at 6 p.m. EDT. A Battlefield Premium subscription is $50 and also includes access to five expansions and other new content released on a weekly basis.
DICE has released numerous patches and updates for every version of Battlefield 4, though the PlayStation 4 version of the game appears to have been the most adversely affected. The developer continues to investigate a range of problems, including dips in frame rate, disappearing crosshairs and hit-markers, and general crashing bugs.
