Battlefield 2042 will celebrate the holidays with new skins themed around Santa Claus, it appears. The new skins seemingly leaked early and have now been removed for all to see, but not before people on social media captured images and shared them.

As you can see, some of the upcoming weekly mission rewards will give players the opportunity to unlock the "Big Nic" tank skin with reindeer on it, the "Little Blitzen" helicopter skin, and the big ticket item, a "Father Winter" skin that lets you become Santa with a machine gun. Check out these skins and more in the images below.

With the holiday season coming up, it's expected that Battlefield 2042 and other games will get in the festive spirit with special skins, modes, and events, so keep checking back for more.

Battlefield 2042's latest major update is out now. It includes more than 150 fixes. After that, DICE is currently planning at least one more small patch for early December that will bring more bug fixes as well as balance changes.

Battlefield 2042 launched in full on November 19 and quickly reached "millions" of players, surpassing the numbers for Battlefield V over a similar period of time. While many people are playing and enjoying Battlefield 2042, the game continues to have bugs and other issues.

Looking wider, EA just recently announced a major organizational change as it looks to grow and expand the Battlefield series.
