Battlefield 1942 ships

EA has announced that Battlefield 1942 has shipped and will be in US retail stores this Friday, September 13. Battlefield 1942 is a class-based first-person shooter that lets players fight on foot and in a wide range of air, sea, and land vehicles. The game's 16 maps are adapted from famous WWII battles in the Pacific, North Africa, and Western and Eastern Europe.
