Battlefield 1: How to Earn a Weapon Skin and Dog Tag by Playing Battlefield 4 or Hardline

Get 100 kills with the M1911 by October 17 to unlock the goods.

EA has announced a promotion where you can earn a special weapon skin and dog tag for Battlefield 1 for completing a mission in Battlefield 4 or Battlefield Hardline.

The weapon skin up for grabs is the M1911 "The Incarceator" skin, while the Road to Battlefield 1 dog tag is also available. To get them, you'll need to complete the M1911 community mission in Battlefield 4 or Hardline by October 17. This is unlocked after you get 100 kills with the M1911.

In addition to earning the weapon skin and dog tag, you'll get a gold Battlepack in Battlefield 4 or Hardline, depending on which one you complete the mission in. You have until 9 AM PT on October 17 to finish the job.

Battlefield 1's official release date is October 21, but EA/Origin Access members can start playing a portion of the game's multiplayer and single-player modes right now, a day ahead of schedule. People who buy the $80 Early Enlister edition, which is offered on all systems, can start playing on October 18.
