Fans of Batman: The Animated Series will want to check out a new art book that's available to pre-order now ahead of its October release.

Comments

While there has been no shortage of quality animated Batman shows, Batman: The Animated Series remains a fan-favorite 25 years after its run ended. Its 85-episode run offered a more mature look at Gotham City than we were accustomed to seeing in superhero cartoons, had a striking art style that remains captivating today, and was held together by great performances such as Mark Hamill's Joker. If you're a longtime fan of the series, there's an upcoming art book that you may want to add to your shelf.

Batman: The Animated Series: The Phantom City Creative Collection is a 144-page hardcover volume designed by Mondo in collaboration with Justin Erickson. Mondo is an online art gallery known for creating limited-edition prints for popular films, TV shows, comics, and other entertainment, while Phantom City Creative makes key art for films, TV, and music.

The collaboration will bring Batman: The Animated Series to life in a new way with beautifully designed prints celebrating the history and culture around the show.

The art book is discounted to $54 right now, which is $6 off its list price. It's worth noting that sometimes art books get significant discounts ahead of their release. If you pre-order now before its October 6 release date, you'll get the lowest price offered up until it ships thanks to Amazon's pre-order price guarantee.

If you're feeling nostalgic and want to rewatch the show itself, Batman: The Completed Animated Series on Blu-ray is available for $53 at Amazon, which is roughly $17 off its list price.
