Batman: Arkham Knight PC Patch Adds Support for All DLC and Updates

The patch is over 9gb for season pass holders.

My faith in game companies is pretty much non-existent now, if it isn't published by CD Projekt Red or Bethesda, I'm avoiding it till atleast a week in. Warner Brothers dropped the ball in the most epic fashion possible and now they are trying to make up for lost time with this blatant cash grab.

F*** 'em.

Content parity. I want the game fixed. I don't care about your DLC.

The game was really fun, but the bugs really sucked. I'm annoyed that not even one piece of DLC is offered for those that did buy it and didn't refund it. They have had our good money and we've had their broken game for months now.

For everyone saying they're going to pirate this game because it was bugged....

YOU'RE PART OF THE FUCKING PROBLEM.

If you care about this platform at all you support it. You don't pirate EVER. if you do you de-incentivize the time and resources needed to make quality product. Why bother if some shit weasel is just going to steal it all. Vote with your wallet. Not with torrent sites.

I think my peers are going to get the game and all the dlc.

3 SEPTEMBER - YORICK

Good news - testing for the interim patch has been completed and it is now available for those who already have Batman: Arkham Knight for PC. As a reminder, below are some of the major fixes and improvements that will be addressed with this patch:

Reduced frame rate hitches

Optimizations for system memory and VRAM usage

Improved performance on all GPUs (requires the latest drivers)

More Comprehensive In-Game Settings

Fixed low resolution texture bugs

Fixed hitches when running on mechanical hard drives (HDD)

In addition to the above, we’re continuing to work on the following for future updates:

Adding support for SLI and Crossfire

Adding support for the latest DLC & Season Pass content

Adding support for additional updates such as Photo Mode

Continued improvements and bug fixing for a Windows 7 specific memory issue that occurs on configurations with 8GB of system RAM and some NVIDIA GPUs during extended game play

Continued improvements for Windows 10 specific issues on systems with some AMD GPUs

As always, we will monitor for any additional issues that come up and will provide further optimizations and bug fixes along the way.

I will not play this game until they fix the goddamn support for SLI. It's ridiculous by now. Fix your s*** WB.

I hope they plan to compensate PC buyers with something...

Knowing that people had issues, I ended up getting the game from a seller on ebay for about half price. Of course it could have run better, but as-of the last patch before the big update, the game has been running decent, though that's most-likely due to my hardware. At least if the DLC costs money, I'll still have spent less than full-retail for the complete experience.

Just fix it already. I have been holding out on this ever since I paid for it back in April, with the Season Pass.

Does it add like...playable framerates?

After all the drama, WB still has the nerve to charge PC owners of this game for DLC. Unbelievable! They are certainly going after the crown of most hated company in the USA.

Would the Beyond and DK Returns skins be considered exclusive since they were pre-order content or does that just mean those that got the game from the corresponding retailer gets that skin/content earlier? Thanks

The game still isn't in a playable state for most and WB is back to trying to nickel and dime its pc customers. I think it's time they join Ubisoft as a publisher I'll never buy a game from again.

You should be giving all your DLC away for free to PC players as an apology for the disgrace you released.

yeah yeah yeah so when is the complete/GOTY edition coming out? and when is the next possible steam sale for that? because before that time I won't spend a dime on the game.

Too little too late for the worst Arkham game in the series. I lost interest after the first play through.

The question is, to anyone who's finished the game, should I buy it on PC when it's re-released or should I wait for a potential GOTY Edition?

I only played about an hour before refunding the game when it launched, but I was enjoying it apart from the bugs and graphical problems. If those are fixed, should I jump right in or wait?

Refunded it when it first came out. Will wait for $15-20 GOTY Steam sale.

so by the end of october the game will be in a "playable" state and back on the market with the new patch, but still not up to par with the console versions? sounds about right. and yet here is wb rying to nickel and dime the masses with dlc before the core game even works properly? wtf? lol

Nah....Fallout 4 and Starcraft 2 Legacy of The Void comes out on November 10th. Save money for those two.

Wait, are they not going to give those who bought the game on launch day for PC any sort of compensation? I'm not one that asks for a lot of stuff, but that seems absolutely ridiculous. Those who bought in on the first day are the biggest fans of the Arkham series, and WB gave them a broken game that wasn't playable for months, and now we're being told "we're sorry about that, buy more stuff!"
