Bandai Visual has announced that it is developing a new racing title for the Sony PlayStation 2 called EX Driver: Zero. It is primarily an arcade-style racing game, with adventure elements and character development through story progression. Fujishima Yasushi, the man responsible for creating the characters in Sega's Sakura Wars series, is doing the same for EX Driver: Zero.

In the game, players control members of an elite peacekeeping force known as the EXG. The racing action is mission-based, and gamers are put in control of futuristic police vehicles.

No further information was announced. GameSpot will bring you more on EX Driver: Zero for the PS2 as the story develops.
