Interplay Entertainment has announced that Baldur's Gate II: Throne of Bhaal has gone gold. Throne of Bhaal is an expansion pack to Interplay's popular Dungeons & Dragons role-playing game Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn. It adds a variety of new features to the original game, including around 50 new high-level spells for clerics and magic users, a variety of new skills for melee classes, and a new wild mage character kit. In addition, the expansion features new high-level dungeon areas and a complete campaign. Players can import their Baldur's Gate II characters straight into the game, but there is also an option to begin the expansion with high-level characters that are prepared for the challenges in store.

Baldur's Gate II: Throne of Bhaal will be available on June 19 for an approximate retail price of $29.99. For much more information, take a look at our in-depth previews of the expansion.
