Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance II goes gold

Interplay and VU Games announce that both the PS2 and Xbox versions of Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance II have gone gold.

Interplay and Vivendi Universal Games have today announced that Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance II has gone gold and will be arriving in stores across North America on January 20. Developed by Interplay's Black Isle Studios, the role-playing game is set in the Forgotten Realms world and employs the 3rd Edition Dungeons & Dragons rule set.

"This franchise has taken on a life of its own, and we look forward to delivering a thrilling experience to the legions of fans who enjoyed the first game," said Herve Caen, Interplay chairman and CEO. "It is clearly among the best games Interplay has ever produced."
