Nvidia has announced that Baldur's Gate 3 is the latest title that's been added to its GeForce Now cloud streaming library. This means that even without a PC, you'll be able to play the game, which currently has no announced console release.

If your rig isn't quite strong enough to handle Baldur's Gate 3, or you wish you could play it on your phone, then you're in luck. Nvidia announced today over on its blog that the early-access RPG is available to play on GeForce Now right… well, now. As long as you own the game on Steam, you'll be able to stream it from your PC, Mac, mobile device, and certain smart TVs and streaming devices.

Now Playing: Baldur's Gate 3 - The Game Awards 2022 Teaser

Important to note is that Baldur's Gate 3 currently isn't confirmed to be launching on any console--though it isn't ruled out. It also doesn't currently have controller support, so you might have to do some tinkering on certain platforms, though the blog post does say "battle and romance as you journey through the Forgotten Realms and beyond from mobile devices." The blog post doesn't go into how mobile controls work, however. This also marks the game's return to a cloud streaming service, as it was available on Stadia, but the service has now shut down.

Baldur's Gate 3 first launched into early access in October 2020, and is due to receive a full launch in August 2023. Set in the world of Dungeons and Dragons, you can choose from a big range of famous classes and races to play as, in either single or multiplayer. In December, the latest patch of the game added in a new class, Paladin, and it also brought the level cap up to five, which will be the last major content to be added into the game before it launches.
