Bad Company 2 Onslaught begins June 22

I dont get this,i thought it was going to be coop campaign,this is like squad bot killing instead of real players,waste of money i m not in

I'm sure like most of you, I have spent a lot of money on add-ons. But it seems like everyone is increasing the prices of their DLC. Now I believe in getting paid what you're worth. But weapon unlocks, 1 game mode and re-distributed maps isn't what I consider fair exchange. Thats like wrapping a friends old shirt and giving it to them for Christmas.

is there split-screen?

EA I really enjoy this game but do u plzz add additional map rather than unlocking mode... we don wan mode but MAP!!!!!!!!!!!!

Buying Onslaught for sure! BC2 is the my GOTY so far (probably won't stay that way but it's still really fun). I was also thinking of buying one of those shortcuts...but $7 is just ridiculous. Screw it. I'll go the extra mile and just double up my playtime :P

wow they're charging $$$ for coop! thats ridiculous, oh well i stopped playing bc2 when i got red dead redemption, i just couldn't stand the annoying lag. anyways rdr's coop pack comes out on the 22nd also... & its free! (im still a fan of bc though ...its just the damn lagging arrrg)

My team and i will personally hunt down every noob who gets the shortcuts all over the damn maps!!! Just for laughs. Bad move EA. We "worked" hard to earn our weapons and now you can just buy them?!!! But you can make it up to us by fixing the damn lagg and releasing onslaught mode for 600 ms (yeah right) Thing is, i'll still play the game 'cause its better than Modern Campfest 2 any day. Heres hoping you listen to the fans.

Anyone who pays $20 to unlock all the things u can achieve yourself by just playing the game (a very fun part of leveling up IMO) is just retarded.....but game developers know that people will pay so they put it out there.

It is nice that they are making VIP pay for there first actually DLC... This BS DLC that VIPs get for free is stupid... Hey we are giving you amazing free DLC that should of been included on the disc, but when we actually release a real DLC we make you pay for it... oh thanks for buying the game brand new and being a VIP here is the same map you got to play if you bought it used but we added a tree over there so it is NEW!

Sounds awesome but my 10.00$ will be going for MAG's 3 new maps and new battle mode. It's basically king of the hill over 3 objective on the map and it's entirely neutral. I think the only thing that is going to suck is all those damn bush wookies! But supposedld each squad is going to have a APC to themselves, so 16 APCs on the map. Chaos indeed. Can see myself trying Onslaught down the road but not until that MAG DLC wears me out. And as for paying the money to unlock all the kits... you can pay the amount for the SPEC kits that are out now and they unlock everything too, not sure if that's a bug but yeah.

Onslaught mode sounds interesting, though I don't see a reason to pay for it unless my friends are down to get it as well.

Aghhhhh! They're going to ruin the game for us with those kit Shortcuts! Now new privates will have access to all those things that we earned through our devotion to the game, our time, and of course electricity bills. Ok, not the electricity bills, I have solar panels, but for many of you, electricity bills. I hope no one pays $20 for those. Pray with me!

well that was a let down

So the VIP Pass means nothing! It only unlocks maps for different game modes what crock of s***. At least Activision was direct when they wanted to f*** us with DLC.

Ha ha ha.... the coop mode is PvE. ha ha ha... I can't believe this. I was hoping it would be coop online or 4 player deathmatch (locally). Disgusting.... for $25 I could get Sam and Max season 3.. not far from the $20 just for addons for this game (I don't care about most of the addons so far).

next theyll charge money to skip the campaign , get all unlockables and achievements...the sad thing is that some people will actually buy this

I'm betting the DLC would definitely come out for the PC. We've all seen that DLC need not be XBOX 360 exclusive anymore !!!

kit shortcuts is a bit of a money grab but it really will not affect anyone who is a high level in game and in skill.

"DICE did not provide an update on whether the Onslaught DLC would be released for the PC, and EA had not responded to requests for comment as of press time." That's disappointing. I am hinging on the outcome of the development of the PC version of Onslaught as a reason whether to purchase a license for Bad Company 2 or not.

Do any heads or bodies come apart when you shoot them with high explosive weapons in Call of Duty? Are you sure that the gore that is presented in World at war is "Realistic".

@Pimpofdoom your not getting what I am saying. If the environments are destructible why not the bodies? And the gameplay would be so much more satisfying if it had carnage. People who say it wouldn't are in denial. Not gears type gore but realistic gore like CODW@W.

@aaronfhff123 Well not every game wants or needs to have a Gears of War like amount of blood and gore. Mass Effect 2 was also rated M but does not have a lot of gore and that is fine with me.

THis game is also rated M for mature...why not show wounds on people from where your bullets hit them...you can leave marks on the environment with your bullets...why not bodies? You can blow down watch towers with explosives in this game but you cant blow up people???? WHY NOT???

@Flint247 well if people are offended by carnage than the game should have an option to turn it off. In real life bullets Do leave marks on people and explosives and heavy weapons DO take off limbs. If people don't like carnage in fps than they shouldn't be playing games based on armed conflict in the first place.

@ated505 wrong is that all DLC are getting expensive.Lot of ppl will buy these stupid guns,and encourage companies to rip off us gamers. Because of activision DLC price is 15$.Now EA is making 20$ price.That a reason enough?

Unfortuneately, this just goes to show how the people with money really can anything they want. Painfully unfair I know, but EA started doing this since 2006 with Need for speed. This also defeats the purpose of leveling up and getting your favorite gun, just to find out that your friend got it way sooner by just paying for it. This mean only one thing, this is a real jackass move from EA.

Pay to unlock kits. That is just lame. Isn't that half the fun of the game unlocking things. Is this really the future of games paying to get an advantage. I noticed that split second did this with the cars and tracks. What's next being being able to pay a buck a day to start every game with the lead? LAME!

@aaronfhff123 I see what you are saying but most people don't want be dissecting bodies as they play a video game. Sometimes that can be sick if developers take it too far.(opinion) (I know I will be marked down because the world likes intense violence)

LOL so rank 10 can now run around with G3 and c4 or USAS-12 Auto. This will be like shooting fish in a barrow for high rank players, plus WTF i work hard on unlocking every spec and weapon thats how u get good at the game oh well it gives us more room to pull of crazy stunts like blowing up 2 buildings at the same time and killing 3-6 by crushing them LOL
