Publisher Annapurna Interactive has confirmed that the award-winning adventure game Journey will hit Steam on June 11, eight years after the indie title launched on PS3 in March 2012.

Journey currently doesn't have a purchase price on Steam, but it retails for $15 on the PlayStation Store. It also launched on iOS in August 2019, where it goes for $5. For now, you can add Journey to your Steam wishlist, and check out the full PC system requirements below. (Note: the system requirements are the minimum necessary to run the game; there are no further requirements than those outlined below.) It's also worth noting that Journey is available on PC via the Epic Games Store.

Journey has you playing as a hooded adventurer as they soar through a variety of desolate and gorgeous locations to discover the mysteries of these strange lands. It features cooperative multiplayer, a short campaign that clocks in at about two hours, and a score written by Austin Wintory, a composer of a bunch of other critically acclaimed games such as Abzu, The Banner Saga franchise, John Wick Hex, and others.

We awarded the game a 10/10 in our original Journey review, saying, "But Journey's real rewards aren't so pedestrian. Journey offers you comfort. It gives you companionship in a lovely but forsaken world. It gives you reason to dream even when facing loss." It's one of the 18 games that has earned the 10/10 rating from GameSpot.
