Avengers Movie Cast Gets Matching Tattoos--They're Missing A Hulk, Though

The Avengers have assembled to get tattoos.

The Avengers have assembled once again--this time at a tattoo parlor. To celebrate the release of Avengers: Infinity War, the Marvel Cinematic Universe's original heroes got together one more time to get matching tattoos--and this time, they even let Hawkeye tag along. Chances are they won't regret these nearly as much as the Suicide Squad cast regrets their group tattoo. In fact, the only regret may come from Mark Ruffalo (Hulk), who didn't join the gang.

Iron Man actor Robert Downey Jr. shared the cool news on Instagram, revealing that he, Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye), Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow), Chris Hemsworth (Thor), and Chris Evans (Captain America) got matching ink designed by tattoo artist Joshua Lord. "Five of the original six Avengers got a tattoo," Downey tells Entertainment Weekly. "And the sixth was the tattoo artist, who gave it to five of us, the one who opted out being Mark Ruffalo."

After Johansson and Evans got theirs done in New York, Downey, Renner, And Hemsworth followed suit in Los Angeles. Then, the Avengers worked together to ink the same design on the artist himself. "Each one of us drew a line on the artist with his own tattoo gun and it was a total massacre," Downey admits.

The actor doesn't explain what kept Ruffalo from getting inked. That said, given how quick to rage Bruce Banner is--and the giant green mess that follows his anger--maybe it's for the best. You can take a look at more photos and videos from the tattoo party below.
